A beautiful medallion pendant with a relief of the Holy Virgin by Emile Adolphe Monier (1883-1970), who was a French sculptor and medallist who typified the Art Deco period.
Incredible detail throughout this gorgeous pendant, a lovely collectors piece to wear, guide and protect its owner.
In excellent vintage condition: patina and minor surface wear as may be expected with age, no obvious wear or damage found.
Stamped with the eagle's head punch on bail signifying French 18k manufacture. Signed Monier on front. Reverse is engraved Fernande 6 Août 1951.
